A Sears 35rf rangefinder with a 40mm f2.8 lens. This is a very fun, tiny, manual focus 35mm camera that can be used on an automatic exposure setting or fully manually. It's apparently the same camera as the Ricoh 500 RF with different branding.

The camera is in excellent cosmetic condition and comes with a case and lens cap. See photos. The camera looked unused when I first obtained it last year and only three rolls of film have been shot with it since. 

The lens has no apparent scratches or fungus. When subjected to the flashlight test, dust is visible inside the lens, but I didn't see any effect on actual photographs shot with the lens. (The circles of light on the front of lens in the close up photo is a reflection of the ring light used to illuminate the camera - not a flaw in the lens.)

The meter works, but according to my tests is one stop off. When I set it at 200 ASA for 400 ASA film, I got proper exposures.

I did not see any light leaks when I tested the camera, but the light seals are dried out and probably should be replaced.

The last photo in the listing is a photograph shot with this camera on Kodak Ultramax 400 film.

The batteries are only needed to run the light meter - the camera will work fully manually without batteries. Batteries are not included.
